Visitors flock to the luxury resorts on the Atlantic coast barrier islands to play golf, stroll secluded beaches, observe wildlife, enjoy deep water fishing and discuss republican tax breaks. Conde Nast Traveler has consistently ranked Charleston among its top 10 U.S. and top 20 world destinations.
